Over the period 2009-2022, David was the first chief executive of Social Finance, a non-profit organisation which seeks new ways of tackling entrenched social problems in the UK and internationally. This followed a 25-year career in investment banking and reflects his conviction that positive social change is possible. He is a former non-Executive Director of the Start Up Loan Company and is currently Chair of 3i Group PLC. He brings a strong commitment to fostering impact and deep experience of the leadership and governance needed to support that.
