What are the key timelines for hiring interns?
Pledging opens in September, candidate allocations happen from November onwards, and recruitment continues until March. Internships take place in summer.
Do I need to have a specific role in mind before pledging?
No – you only need to confirm the number of interns you’d like to hire, the workstreams they’ll be placed in, and the locations available.
What level of experience do the interns have?
Interns come from various academic backgrounds, with most in undergraduate or postgraduate studies or recent graduates.
How much should I pay my interns?
All internships must be paid at least the Real Living Wage which is £13.85ph for London and £12.60ph for the rest of the UK.
What support do you provide to employers?
We offer inclusivity training, recruitment guidance, and account management to support you at every stage.
