    The 10,000 Black Interns programme offers paid internships for Black students and graduates across the UK, creating access to meaningful career opportunities across more than 35 sectors.

    Our internship programme is designed for students from Black or Black Heritage backgrounds (including mixed heritage) who are currently studying at a UK university (in any year) or have graduated within the last three years or or are over 18 and on a gap year with a confirmed offer from a UK university.

    Yes, all internships offered through the programme are paid at least the Real Living Wage.

    A pledge is a commitment from an organisation to hire one or more interns through the 10,000 Black Interns programme.

    A workstream refers to the specific department or job function of a role, such as HR, Finance, or Data, regardless of the wider sector the organisation operates in.

    A sector is the industry a company belongs to, like Finance, Law or Media. A workstream is the department or area of focus within that organisation—like HR in a Law firm, or Data in a Media company.
