The Alexander Paul & Dar awards: celebrating the class of 2025

On 4th March 2025, The 10,000 Interns Foundation gathered at Batch LDN to honour the extraordinary achievements of our Class of 2025 interns. The Alexander Paul & Dar Awards ceremony spotlighted the resilience, excellence, and impact of participants from both the 10,000 Black Interns and 10,000 Able Interns programmes. Named after two individuals who embodied purpose and possibility, the awards recognise interns who have gone above and beyond during their placements – those who not only seized opportunity, but elevated it.

This intimate yet powerful evening brought together nominees, nominators, board members, alumni, and friends of the Foundation. It was a celebration of progress, potential, and the spirit of community that fuels our work.

Our winners were:

• Alexander Paul Award – Alexia Watson Yarngo, NHS
• Dar Award – Lysander Bickham, Publicis Groupe

We also recognised the exceptional achievements of shortlisted Alexander Paul Award finalists:

• Maurice Quartey, Taylor Wessing
• Marie Joelle Nelly, Thames Water
• Adijat Balogan, ISE Partners
• Gabriel Eba, Mace

This year marked the first time we streamed parts of the ceremony on Instagram, expanding the reach of the celebration and allowing our wider community to tune in. Post-event content continues to showcase the incredible talent of our interns across platforms. As we grow, we’re more committed than ever to celebrating the stories, voices, and brilliance of our community – not just at the start of their journeys, but throughout.
